You, Her.
You, Her.
You, Me?
You, Her.
You and Me Her.

the romantic piano pieces I sent you are killing me.
I think about you when I listen to them..
but you... will you be thinking about her?

sadness overwhelms fatigue.
still, I am not weak.
even as salt tears fall,
I AM NOT WEAK.

sigh. love oh love.
where art thou love?
where is the magic,
that sparkle I used to get from you?
has she taken it away from me as well?

Break, heart, I prithee break.

Never, never, never, never, never.

Fall, and cease.

shut out reality.
I wait to dream.
wait to bury myself in their soft whiteness.

"She's got something to say to the world, she wants to know if she could tie it up so it can't move; she is feeling inspired, she said it's too cool for it's own good. She's kinda freaky, she's kinda weird, she's kinda freaky, but I don't know ... I think she's a genius."

Will it ever actually happen?

I'm constantly searching for that one person, one idea, that one place or that one perfect moment that will rescue me from my life. Maybe it`s not even about salvation from life, but being awoken. That one feeling that will actually make me feel completely and truly alive that I never have experienced before. My fear is whether it will ever actually happen, and when it does will it just pass me by? Will I be able to grab hold of it?

I grab hold of something that I view as being as close as possible to this thing I'm desperately searching for never wanting to let it go in fear of not being able to find it again. Even though I know deep down that it will never live up to the aforementioned "perfect" thing, however I still cling on to it. But I know now while I'm still clinging on I will never have the chance to find what it is I'm really looking for, that perfect person, that one perfect moment, that will make my heart beat like it never has before, my skin tingle from head to toe and send the adrenaline shooting through my veins, taking me away, causing me to feel entirely alive. That feeling we were promised since birth.

True love.

The truth is, Snow White bit into the blood-red apple and died.
There never was a prince.

In the face of repeated experiences of overwhelming helplessness and bewilderment, the child must find a way to make sense of a confused and confusing world; there may be little option but to escape into the reassuring world of personal fantasies made up of variations on the disconcertingly discredited family fairy tales. The loss of innocence is always painful, and grown-up acceptance of this inevitable transformation offers no guarantee that we will not fall on hard times again. But those of us who have had to deny our loss by willfully insisting on replacing the original state with pseudo-innocence are subject to anxiety and depression whenever this theatrical pose is in jeopardy. In addition to the chance blows to which life subjects everyone else, we add the needless suffering that comes from the impossible demands that we be special, and that the world be fair and just.

You know why they put oxygen masks on planes?

So you can breathe?

Oxygen gets you high. In a catastrophic emergency, you're taking giant panicked breaths. Suddenly you become euphoric, docile. You accept your fate. It's all right here. Emergency water landing - 600 miles an hour. Blank faces, calm as Hindu cows.
